Brooke Ray Demko
Brooke Ray (BR) brings 15 years of creative real estate & public realm development with a social infrastructure focus. With experience in the private, public & nonprofit sectors, BR specializes in high-touch multi-stakeholder alignment, from community relations and public private partnerships to housing-related public space development and management, retail revitalization, master planning, and policy work. Most recently BR led community engagement on behalf of Google and Lendlease in the City of Mountain View; prior she led a creative P3-focused nonprofit that transformed underperforming public spaces and streetscapes in San Francisco, and prior co-led a downtown revitalization real estate investment firm in Los Altos on behalf of a HNW family office. BR holds Master of City Planning & Master of Landscape Architecture degrees from UC Berkeley and a BA from Williams College. She is LEED accredited.
Daniel Fink
With 15 years of experience in computational design and geospatial science, Daniel develops and deploys software to identify residential development opportunities. He specializes in building digital and physical workflows, platforms, and tools that integrate computational design, real estate finance, and geospatial science, for property acquisition and project delivery. Daniel is currently a Senior Associate at AR-MA, an advanced design computing and fabrication consultancy, and was previously a Lead Researcher at MIT’s Real Estate Innovation Lab, and an Urban Design Lead at Grimshaw Architects. He has directed numerous design, software, & research teams, presented papers at major academic conferences, and has served as a guest lecturer at universities around the world. Daniel holds a MS in Architecture from MIT, and a Master of Architecture and Bachelor in Design from the University of Sydney.
Randi Gerson
With over 30 years of development, design, entitlement, and construction management experience, Randi has worked on some of the most complex real estate projects in the Bay Area. She has managed the vertical development of large master plans, financed and developed LIHTC affordable housing, and drafted design guidelines. Over the course of her career, Randi has worked for many respected residential developers, including Lennar Urban/Fivepoint Communities, Kylli, MacFarlane Partners, Forest City Enterprises and Mercy Housing. Convening diverse stakeholders—often with conflicting agendas—is one of her strengths. Randi knows how to build coalitions to support win-win development outcomes. A strategic thinker, she sees the impacts of decisions many steps ahead, and knows how to balance innovation with practicality. Her background as a licensed architect and soup-to-nuts experience in the development process are valuable assets to any project, at any scale.
Andy Golubitsky
Andy brings over 15 years of experience in complex real estate financial analytics, grounded in hands-on real estate development. Andy has underwritten over $40B of commercial real estate transactions that included a variety of public incentive and private capital sources. Before founding APRE, a national real estate financial analytics consultancy with offices in NYC and LA, and Astral, a real estate development firm with a $240M development pipeline, Andy held senior positions at Macklowe Properties and Douglaston Development, where he helped acquire, develop, and finance market rate residential, affordable housing, retail, and hotel properties. Prior to his career in real estate development, Andy practiced architecture, where he worked on a range of projects including multifamily, student housing, hospitality, and private residences. Andy holds an MS in Real Estate Development as well as Urban Design from Columbia University, and a BArch from Syracuse University. He is LEED accredited and an adjunct professor at Columbia University.
Alan Mark
Alan is a leader in real estate, distinguished for his role as a strategic advisor to many of America’s most important developers and brokerages. With over 25 years of experience, he is recognized as an innovator and is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on residential branding, sales, and marketing. Alan founded The Mark Company in 1997, and as its President built the company into a preeminent urban residential marketing and sales firm. The Mark Company was known for a strategic approach that emphasized data-driven analytics and the buyer experience. Alan orchestrated the successful marketing of over 10,000 housing units on the west coast, amounting to $5 billion in sales. His keen ability to design, brand, and position buildings for target buyers and renters revolutionized the market. Acquired by Pacific Union in 2015, The Mark Company was later sold to the real estate brokerage, Compass.
Daryl Patterson
A veteran of construction, property development and the application of industry-changing technologies, Daryl started his career in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Architecture from Auckland University. Joining Lendlease in the 1990s, his 28-year career there culminated in the role of Chief Product Officer and Head of Design. Daryl was instrumental in establishing mass timber construction in Australia with involvement in more than 20 major CLT / Mass Timber projects globally. He has led product development for building component systems coupled to digital platform technologies with a focus on digital twins, smart component connectors and design automation. In recent years Daryl coordinated major research programs to advance the building industry in partnership with multiple organizations including Monash, Melbourne and Sydney Universities and he is an adjunct professor at Monash University.
Lisa Podesto
An expert in the field of construction technology and mass timber, Lisa offers 15 years of industry leadership supporting the development, design, and construction planning focused on prefabricated and modular buildings. Her broad expertise in building codes, structural engineering, acoustic performance, building envelopes, embodied carbon analysis, fire science, permit approvals, cost planning, supply chain, procurement, logistics, scheduling, and sequencing allows her to achieve cost and schedule efficiencies from early project planning. Her strong technical skills are topped off with a deep professional, industry, and academic network. Lisa is a California licensed professional engineer with an MS in Structural Engineering.
